Timberwolves fans trying to catch the team play via the Bally Sports app on their streaming devices found themselves frustrated for the second consecutive game.
A multitude of fans found themselves unable to get the Wolves-Nuggets game working on the app, which came after similar issues for Monday’s game between the Wolves and the Hawks in Atlanta.
At 6:14 p.m., Bally Sports posted that it was “experiencing a streaming outage across many of our regions,” with fans of other teams including the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks complaining they couldn’t watch their teams play.

More than an hour later, after the Timberwolves game had started, the company said it was “still working to identify the streaming issue and working on a solution to get you back into the game.”
It was only at 8:40 p.m., well into the third quarter, did the broadcaster confirm that the issue had been fixed.
The issue has now been fixed, we genuinely apologize for the inconvenience. We will keep working tonight to find solutions so this doesn’t happen again.

Bally Sports’ parent company, Diamond Sports Group, is currently in the midst of filing for bankruptcy. Bally has previously dropped the Padres and Diamondbacks’ rights while at least two NBA teams, Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns, have moved away from the regional broadcaster in favor of their own streaming apps.
Bally Sports North remains the broadcaster for the Timberwolves for now only because of a last-minute deal that would keep the channel on Comcast and DirecTV, with the Wolves and other impacted NBA and NHL teams accepting a reduction in rights fees to make it work.
There was withering commentary about the Bally Sports North experience on Wednesday evening.
I’ll gladly pay $20 again when you get your 💩 together @ballysportshelp

Never in my life have I had worse experience with a company. Their tech hardly works, and even when it does the experience is garbage. They post automated messages and could seem to care less about their customers. Straight garbage.
