The Minnesota Wild’s freefall towards the bottom of the NHL continued Sunday with a 4-3 home loss to Calgary. The Wild is now 29-30-10, meaning they’ve gone 9-23-7 since December 10, when they were an NHL best 20-7-3.
Minnesota trailed 2-0 at the start of the third period, but Erik Christensen scored twice in the first 4:30 of the period to tie the game. The Flames came back to take a 3-2 lead after Curtis Glencross scored at the 10:17 mark. Calgary would add another goal to make it 4-2.
Devin Setoguchi scored with 1:04 remaining to make it a one goal game, but that would be all for the Wild.
