Battling a strained right quadriceps, Lauren Silberman’s NFL tryout lasted just two kicks Sunday — neither of which traveled more than 20 yards.
Silberman, a former club soccer player at the University of Wisconsin, was the first female participant in an NFL-sponsored tryout, held in New Jersey.
Despite the result, Silberman says she’d be “excited” to try again, but told reporters, “It’s up to the scouts.”
