This social media stuff. You really have to watch it.
Case in point: Matt Garza, ex-Twin now pitching for the Texas Rangers.
According to the Pioneer Press, he got into a Twitter war with Oakland infielder Eric Sogard.
After a Saturday loss to the A’s, he called Sogard a “punk” and told his wife to “keep her trap shut.”

Sogard had dropped down few sacrifice bunts, which apparently really irritated Garza.
Later, the righthander apologized, saying he let his “competitive spirit cross outside the lines.”
As for further tweeting, Garza says he may just give it up.
