The Vikings are banged up heading into Sunday’s game with the Arizona Cardinals as linebacker Eric Kendricks was among several players who were added to the injury list on Thursday.

Kendricks played and recorded a team-high 15 tackles against the Bengals but missed Thursday’s practice with a quad injury. ESPN’s Courtney Cronin reports that Kendricks practiced on Wednesday and did not mention an injury while speaking to reporters Thursday morning.
Still, Kendricks’ status is another blow to a depleted linebacker unit. Anthony Barr remains out with a knee injury after missing Week 1 and Nick Vigil has been limited the past two days with a bad ankle.
With Everson Griffen also out due to a concussion and Harrison Hand nursing a hamstring, the Vikings’ defense could be undermanned ahead of a matchup with dual-threat superstar Kyler Murray.
On offense, Christian Darrisaw remained limited as he makes his way back from offseason groin surgery. With the first-round pick sidelined, it’s expected that Rashod Hill will make his second straight start on Sunday.
With a slew of injuries, the Vikings are not in a great place for their trip to the desert but need to pick up a win to avoid falling into an 0-2 hole.
