The Phoenix Suns forgot about their recent struggles as they beat the Timberwolves 106-97 Wednesday night in Phoenix.
It was just the sixth win for the Suns in their last 18 games.
Minnesota was atrocious from the three-point line. The Wolves finished 1-of-13 from long range and didn’t even make a three through the first three quarters.
Markieff Morris was on his game for Phoenix, he led the Suns with 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting as he knocked down shots from all over the floor.

Eric Bledsoe added 18 and T.J.Warren had a career-high 17 off the bench for the Suns.
Phoenix also dramatically out rebounded the Wolves 45-34.
The Wolves were a little short-handed on Wednesday night. Flip Saunders rested Kevin Garnett for a second straight game, while he also limited Ricky Rubio’s minutes. Making matters worse, Nikola Pekovic’s bothersome ankle flared up in the first half, limiting Pek to just eight minutes.
Kevin Martin led Minnesota with 16, while newly acquired Justin Hamilton had a career-high 15. Chase Budinger chipped in 10.
The Wolves (14-49) are at Oklahoma City on Friday night.
