The Timberwolves fell to the New Orleans Pelicans 100-88 Monday night at Target Center.
Anthony Davis had a big night for New Orleans, scoring 24 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for the double-double, while Tyreke Evans and Eric Gordon each chipped in 22.
New Orleans built a 15-point lead in the first half, and the Wolves couldn’t dig their way out of the hole.
Zach LaVine led Minnesota with 24 points, while Andrew Wiggins added 15. He was just 5-of-16 from the floor, but had a nice dunk early on.

Injuries to other players forced Wiggins to play more minutes than he had been in the last few games, as teammate Chase Budinger, who had been playing well, left the game with a sprained ankle.
Wiggins on track to play 45 minutes tonight. Not many options with budinger out now too

Budinger finished with 18 points, including 9-of-10 from the free throw line.
Sprained left ankle for Budinger. That's a relief for him after all those knee issues.
