The Minnesota Vikings picked up a major upset victory on Sunday, riding Dalvin Cook’s four touchdowns to defeat the Green Bay Packers 28-22.
After the Packers drove down the field for a five-yard touchdown from Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams, Cook began his career day with a 21-yard touchdown on the ground to tie the game.
Green Bay answered with another Rodgers to Adams connection, but Cook tied the game again on a one-yard touchdown plunge to send the Vikings and Packers into the locker room tied at 14.
In the second half, the Vikings outmuscled the Packers to the tune of 159 yards on the ground and marched right to the goal line for another Cook touchdown. With the Vikings up 21-14, Cook buried the Packers with an electric 50-yard screen into the end zone to put Minnesota ahead 28-14.

The Packers had a last stand late in the fourth quarter when Rodgers found Adams for their third touchdown pass of the game and picked up a two-point conversion to come within 28-22. But as the Packers drove for the potential game-winning score, D.J. Wonnum stripped Rodgers as time expired to preserve the victory.
The Vikings (2-5) will now prepare for another divisional battle as they host the Detroit Lions in Week 9.
