Former Cy Young pitcher Dallas Keuchel is being called up by the Twins, the team announced Thursday.
Keuchel had a 1.13 ERA in 32.0 innings pitched for Triple-A St. Paul this season.
In order to make room for Keuchel on the 26-man roster the Twins have sent Joe Ryan to the 15-day Injured List with a left groin strain.
Ryan gave up seven runs in his four-inning outing Wednesday night in the Twins 7-3 loss to St. Louis.

MLB Network’s Kelly Nash, Keuchel’s wife, tweeted out Thursday morning that the door remained open for Keuchel’s return to the Twins after he opted out of his contract Tuesday.
