The Chicago Bears will start Jay Cutler at quarterback on Sunday in the regular season finale against the Vikings at TCF Bank Stadium.
Bears coach Marc Trestman announced that Jimmy Clausen will not play Sunday due to the onset of delayed symptoms of a concussion.
According to CBS Sports, Clausen absorbed a helmet-to-helmet hit from defensive end Ezekiel Ansah as he slid to the ground during a 20-14 defeat to Detroit. According to the report, Clausen started exhibiting symptoms of the concussion after he left the stadium Sunday night.

There have been some major issues in Chicago as the Bears head to Minnesota. Chicago has lost four straight games and are a game behind the Vikings for last place in the NFC North.

“I honestly don’t even know what the message is, to be honest with you,” Bears kicker Robbie Gould said on WSCR’s Spiegel and Mannelly Show.
“I just think it’s been a long season. [Trestman started Clausen] to provide a sport for the team, is what he told us, and I wish Jay was out there playing.
[Trestman] did address the team the next day and talked about what happened. He made a decision that he thought was best for the team. And listen, we lost again. That’s the bottom line. W’re in the business of winning football games and production, and we got to produce, and we got to win.
I feel really bad for Jay. We’re you’re having a tough season like this, he’s not the guy to be the scapegoat or the guy to blame. There’s a lot of guys you can put that blame on.
You could bench the whole team. It’s not like anybody’s really played fantastic or great. We’re 5-10 now. It’s not like Jay’s the problem. Jay’s not the issue.”
