Jordan Clarkson made two free-throws with three-tenths of a second remaining to lift the Los Angeles Lakers to a 101-99 overtime victory over the Timberwolves Wednesday night at Target Center.
Clarkson finished with 20 points and was a perfect 8-of-8 from the charity stripe on the night. Jeremy Lin added 19 for the Lakers and Ed Davis chipped in 14 in the victory.
Really heads-up play by Clarkson to shoot in the act of retrieving the ball. Knew he barely had any time and could draw a foul.

The Wolves battled all night. Chase Budinger forced overtime when he knocked down a game-tying 3-pointer with 6.6 seconds remaining in regulation.
Then in overtime, Lorenzo Brown came up with a big steal, which resulted in a breakaway dunk to put the Wolves up 94-92. After the Lakers reclaimed a one-point lead, Andrew Wiggins converted a three-point play to put the Wolves up by two.
But the Wolves were unable to extend the lead after failing to score on their next three possessions. Instead the Lakers again were able to reclaim the lead at 99-97 with less than a minute to play.
After Minnesota tied it at 99 with a jumper by Gorgui Dieng, Clarkson picked up a key offensive rebound, drew a foul on Zach Lavine and put the game away at the free throw line.
Wiggins led the Wolves with 27, while Budinger finished with 22 and LaVine chipped in 18.
The Wolves (16-55) travel to Houston on Friday night.
