On Saturday night Chris Stewart of the Minnesota Wild completed the famous Gordie Howe hat trick against the Winnipeg Jets.
The Gordie Howe hat trick consist of a goal, assists and a five minute penalty for fighting – all of which Stewart accomplished in the second period.
Stewart scored the first goal for the Wild, he then assisted on Matt Dumba’s power-play goal and finished it with getting into a fight with Winnipeg’s Chris Thorburn.
For Stewart, it was the fourth time in his career that he accomplished the feat.
