According to The Daily Norseman, 14 of Minnesota’s 16 opponents in 2016 are set in stone.
The remaining two games won’t be set until the Vikings-Packers game on Sunday night is final. If Minnesota wins, they’ll add a home game against the Arizona Cardinals and a road contest with the Carolina Panthers. If the Vikings lose, they will host the Seattle Seahawks and travel to Georgia for a date with the Atlanta Falcons next year.
Home games:
- Chicago Bears
- Detroit Lions
- Green Bay Packers
- Dallas Cowboys
- New York Giants
- Houston Texans
- Indianapolis Colts
Away games:
- Chicago Bears
- Detroit Lions
- Green Bay Packers
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Washington Redskins
- Jacksonville Jaguars
- Tennessee Titans
Of the 14 games already set, only Green Bay (10-5), Washington (8-7) and Houston (8-7) have winning records this season. A lot can change in a year, but that’s a pretty soft schedule at this point – especially when you take into account that Washington and Houston play in the league’s two weakest divisions, the NFC East and AFC South.
Times and dates for each game haven’t been announced.
