Twins fans hoping to see Byung Ho Park quickly called up from the minor leagues are going to be a little disappointed. It doesn’t look like that will be the case – at least not right now.
Park was placed on the 7-day disabled list at the Twins Triple-A affiliate in Rochester.

Park was sent to Triple-A despite leading the team by hitting nearly .350 with six home runs during Spring Training in Fort Myers, last month.
He was removed from the 40 man roster ahead of Spring Training and failed to make the club as an invitee to spring training. According to 1500 ESPN, he and Kennys Vargas are both at Triple-A right now, vying for a chance to get back to the the majors.
Last season with the Twins, Park hit .191 with 12 home runs in 244 plate appearances, he also struck out in nearly 33 percent of his at bats.
