As if the five-hour (six hours for the Vikings) time difference from the United States to London wasn’t enough to throw the Cleveland Browns’ sleep schedule off, the team was forced to evacuate its hotel early Saturday morning.
According to Cleveland.com, a gas leak at the hotel was reported and all visitors were hurried out at 5:45 a.m. (11:45 p.m. Central Time). After about an hour they were given an all clear to head back inside.
The Browns arrived in London on Thursday and players were stressing the importance of getting a good night of sleep Friday into Saturday, per the report. So much for that.

The Vikings are at a different hotel and didn’t have any reported problems.
