Saints’ linebacker Jonathan Vilma filed a defamation lawsuit against NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Thursday. Goodell has said Vilma led the team’s bounty program and offered thousands of dollars to injure opposing team’s star players. Vilma’s attorney says the false claims have “harmed Jonathan’s reputation and ability to make a living.”
