Normally, All-Star breaks are a chance for teams to get away from the grind of the season and get healthier. But that wasn’t the case for the Minnesota Timberwolves, who came back from the break with an extra injury.
The Timberwolves returned to practice Wednesday without forward Nemanja Bjelica, who returned from the break on crutches.
Nemanja Bjelica hurt his right foot during the break. Will be listed as day-to-day with a sore right foot moving forward. #Twolves

Bjelica is averaging 4.5 points and 3.2 rebounds in 46 games this year in his first season with the Wolves. He is officially listed as questionable for Friday night’s game at Memphis.
According to the Star Tribune, Bjelica injured his right foot while working out in California over the break.
In addition to Bjelica, Nikola Pekovic and Kevin Garnett also didn’t practice Wednesday. Kevin Martin was back on the practice floor after healing from a wrist injury.
Wolves coach Sam Mitchell that Martin could be available to play Friday night if he comes through Thursday’s practice just fine. Of course, he’d also have to not be traded by tomorrow afternoon’s trade deadline.
