Either the decision makers for the Chicago Bears have lost their minds or they just can’t take another day watching Mike Glennon throw interceptions, because they’re reportedly throwing rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky into the fire on Monday Night Football against the Vikings.

Trubisky has never taken a snap in an NFL regular season game. He’s been riding the pine since being drafted No. 2 overall by the Bears, who traded a boatload of valuables just to move up one pick to get him.
Glennon has been a disaster, throwing five interceptions and losing three of five fumbles in just four games.
Trubisky will be facing a Vikings defense that just made the NFL’s highest-paid quarterback, Matthew Stafford, look average. According to Pro Football Focus, the Vikings put pressure on Stafford on 35.1 percent of his dropbacks, six of which were credited to defensive end Danielle Hunter, who had two sacks on Stafford.
At the very least, Trubisky will have had 10 days to prepare for the Monday night game against the Vikings because the Bears are coming off a Thursday game against the Packers.
