Sunday’s injury additions to the Packers and Bears were downright scary. Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler had a hard time walking to the locker room after suffering a groin injury. The Bears announced today that Cutler will miss at least a month with a groin tear.
Pro Bowl cornerback Charles Tillman left with an injury, as did linebacker Lance Briggs, who is out 4-6 weeks with a shoulder injury, according to NBC Sports.
Green Bay tight end Jermichael Finley suffered a frightening neck injury that forced doctors and trainers to take him off the field on a gurney. ESPN reports that Finley has regained almost all movement in his body, but he remains in the intensive care unit at a local Green Bay hospital.
Tom Pelissero reports that Finley is not expected to require surgery.
