The leader of the free world is on the Tubby Smith bandwagon.
For at least one game.
President Barack Obama picked Minnesota over UCLA in the second round of the upcoming NCAA basketball tournament, declaring: “Minnesota’s been playing tough. I think Tubby Smith’s team is going to do pretty well.”
Obama did not pick the Gophers to make it to the Sweet 16, however.
