The Minnesota Twins gave up four home runs, including two grand slams, in a 14-5 loss to the Houston Astros Sunday at Target Field, MLB.com reports.
Twins starting pitcher Samuel Deduno lasted only into the third inning, allowing five runs, three hits and four walks — and he hit two batters with pitches, according to the Star Tribune.

The Astros had the bases loaded with no outs in the fourth inning and again in the seventh. They scored three times in the fourth to take a 5-0 lead, and designated hitter Chris Carter gave Houston a 9-3 lead in the seventh inning with his first career grand slam off reliever Brian Duensing, according to MLB.com.
Houston got another run in the eighth when right fielder George Springer hit a solo homer to center, and first baseman Jon Singleton hit his second career homer — another grand slam — off Twins reliever Glen Perkins in the ninth. It’s the third time in Twins history they’ve allowed two grand slams in one game, according to the Star Tribune.
The Twins lost the series with the Astros two games to one. They begin a nine-game road trip against Toronto, Detroit and Boston.
