While the entire world seems to be falling in love again with the Green Bay Packers, Anthony Barr is reminding people which team won the NFC North in 2015.
“We’re the defending NFC North champions so I think we’re the team to beat in the division at the moment,” Barr told NFL Network. “Until that title is taken away from us, I think we’re the team to beat in the NFC North.”

Barr was also asked about quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and how he stacks up against the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford and Jay Cutler.
“I have full confidence and full belief in him – as does the rest of the team,” Barr said. “There are some great quarterbacks in the division but I think what he does for the offense is exactly what we need. He’s a great game manager. He can go and throw the touchdowns when we need it, he can get out of the pocket and scramble. He’s just a great teammate, a great person and a great football player.”
The big question is how much Bridgewater will play in Week 3 of the preseason this Sunday against the Chargers. Bridgewater didn’t play last week against Seattle and there are still some questions about the health of his shoulder.
