Two days after rallying to win after trailing the Houston Rockets by 19 points, the Timberwolves pulled off another come-from-behind win over the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night at Target Center.
Charlotte led by 15 points with 4:33 left in the second quarter before the Wolves went on a 20-7 run to close the half, and they went on another big run when it mattered most – the fourth quarter – to win the game going away, 121-104.
Tied 86-86 after three quarters, the Wolves outscored the Hornets 35-18 in the final quarter, and Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins led the charge.
Towns finished with 35 points on 13-of-20 shooting while adding 12 rebounds and a career-high six blocks. Wiggins played with tremendous energy and scored 26 points (11-of-19 shooting) with six rebounds and five assists.

Jeff Teague scored just three points but dished out a career-high 18 assists.
The win gives Minnesota a record of 13-12, the first time they’ve been above .500 this season.
Minnesota is 9-3 since trading Jimmy Butler while Butler’s new team, the 76ers, are 8-3 since acquiring him. It’s all good for everybody, apparently.
The Wolves now hit the road for a tough four-game trip out west against the Blazers, Warriors, Kings and Suns beginning Saturday at 9 p.m. in Portland.
