Big news for Minnesota football fans as Adam Schefter reports that wide receiver Adam Thielen has agreed to a three-year deal to stay with the Vikings.
Thielen, a restricted free agent, would have brought Minnesota a second-round pick had he signed with another team.

According to the Pioneer Press, the Vikings made Thielen a priority – and for good reason. The former Detroit Lakes high school star and D2 stud at Mankato caught 69 passes for 967 yards last season. He’s expected to go into the season as the No. 2 receiver behind Stefon Diggs. Laquon Treadwell would be the No. 3 projected receiver unless he’s able to show a lot more than he did as a rookie.
The Vikings have already lost Cordarrelle Patterson to the Raiders and Charles Johnson to the Panthers.
Jarius Wright is still with Minnesota.
