It’s looking more and more likely that Aaron Rodgers will suit up and be ready to play when the Packers host the Vikings on Sunday.
The Green Bay quarterback sprained his left knee in a comeback win over Chicago in Week 1, and he’s officially listed as questionable. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Packers won’t decide if he’s in or out until he tests his knee on the field on Sunday morning.
“The Packers plan to see how his knee feels on Sunday morning before making a final decision on his playing status. Packers coach Mike McCarthy told Pelissero the Packers have been game planning all week under the premise that Rodgers would be playing.”
If Rodgers plays it would seem likely that his mobility will be limited, but how much he’s limited is the big question.
Kickoff between the Vikings and Packers is set for noon.
