Brett Favre isn’t going to un-retire to play quarterback for the Vikings. But you wouldn’t know it based on the internet, which this week has repeatedly hinted/joked that it should be Favre who replaces injured Teddy Bridgewater as the Vikings quarterback.

A restaurant just across the border in Hudson just wanted to make sure he didn’t get any ideas, so they left Favre a message on their sign, which you can see in the tweet at the top of this story.
Favre, 47, now hasn’t played in an NFL game since 2010 – and it didn’t end well for him.
He was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame over the summer, but if you wondered if there are any residual bitter feelings among some Packers fans about Favre’s dalliance with the Vikings, check out the reaction to the decision to include a Vikings jersey in Favre’s Hall of Fame locker.
