After signing four late-round draft picks on Wednesday, the Vikings announced Thursday that second-round pick, offensive tackle, Brian O’Neill has agreed to his rookie contract with the team.
O’Neill, a 12-game starter and All-ACC left tackle for Pittsburgh University last season, was selected by the Vikings with the 62nd overall pick in last week’s NFL Draft.
NFL Network’s Mike Mayock is on record saying O’Neill has a chance to be a dynamic starter at either tackle position in the NFL, and he appears to be in line for a chance to start at right tackle as a rookie.

On Wednesday, the Vikings signed kicker Daniel Carlson (5th round), guard Colby Gossett (6th round) , defensive end Ade Aruna (6th round) and linebacker Devante Downs (7th round).
The only draft picks still unsigned are cornerback Mike Hughes (1st round), defensive end Jalyn Holmes (4th round) and tight end Tyler Conklin (5th round).
The Vikings started rookie minicamp this week, giving the coaching staff their first in-person look at all of their draft picks and undrafted free agents.
