Four straight two-out hits in a four-run fourth inning was enough for the Minnesota Twins to beat the Cleveland Indians 4-3 on Tuesday night in Cleveland.
Those were the only four hits the Twins had off Cleveland starter Trevor Bauer, but they included a two-run homer from Oswaldo Arcia, his 17th of the season.
Joe Mauer and Kennys Vargas also had doubles in the inning and Trevor Plouffe drove in Vargas. That was all the Twins would need.
The Twins finished 3-for-4 with runners in scoring position and stranded just three runners on base.
Arcia was the only Twin with more than one hit, he finished 2-for-4.
Twins starter Trevor May (2-4) picked up his second consecutive win. He gave up two runs on five hits in five innings.

The bullpen also came up big for the Twins. They gave up just one run in four innings and Jared Burton pitched a perfect ninth for his second save of the year.

Minnesota expects to have their regular closer Glen Perkins available for Wednesday’s game. Kyle Gibson (11-10) starts on the mound Wednesday against Cleveland’s T.J. House (2-3).
