“With the privilege of being a member of the University of Minnesota basketball program there are expectations and standards to which we hold our student-athletes accountable, and they have failed to do so,” Gophers coach Richard Pitino said in a statement, via the Pioneer Press.

Mason and McBrayer are starting guards while Dorsey is a key guard off the bench. The one-game suspensions come just two weeks after senior guard Carlos Morris was kicked off the team for violating team rules.
We’ll look for more detail if and when Pitino provides them.
Interesting to differentiate for Pitino what merits a complete boot (Morris) & what merits a 1 game suspension (the 3 underclassmen).
