Sports Illustrated released it’s top 100 NBA players going into the 2017 season and three Minnesota Timberwolves made the list.
Ricky Rubio was ranked 71 and Andrew Wiggins came in at 67. Karl-Anthony Towns was all the way up at 23. But here are the top 22.
- LeBron James
- Kevin Durant
- Steph Curry
- Chris Paul
- Russell Westbrook
- Kawhii Leonard
- James Harden
- Anthony Davis
- Paul George
- Blake Griffin
- LaMarcus Aldridge
- DeMarcus Cousins
- Draymond Green
- Kyle Lowry
- Paul Milsap
- Jimmy Butler
- John Wall
- Al Horford
- Klay Thompson
- DeAndre Jordan
- Damian Lillard
- Marc Gasol
It’s tough to make too much of an argument against any of these players, but the fact that Towns is this high on the list at 20 years old should scare the rest of the league. The Ringer’s Bill Simmons is already on record predicting Towns to be a top 10 player this season.
