Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer’s right eye continues to be a pain in his ass.
At the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis Thursday, Zimmer revealed that he’s scheduled for two more surgeries on the eye that caused him to miss a game against the Dallas Cowboys last season.
“[The doctor] said after this next surgery I’ll have 50 percent better vision and then hopefully after the cataract it can get [fully healed],” he said, via Viking Update.
According to the Washington Post, Zimmer will have the first surgery April 17 and the second sometime before training camp.
He still might not be out of the woods after he corrects the vision in his right eye.
“There’s a high likelihood that it could happen with the other eye once it happens with one eye,” Zimmer said. “But there’s nothing I could have done differently.”
